Peer Review

Pisenti & Brinker LLP is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Center for Audit Quality (AICPA), the Government Audit Quality Center (AICPA), and the Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center (AICPA). Membership in these organizations is voluntary and requires a commitment to the highest standards of professional practice.

Pisenti & Brinker LLP is committed to providing the highest quality product for their clients. Because of this commitment, the firm conforms to the AICPA’s standards of quality in accounting and auditing services. The firm undergoes a Peer Review every three years, whereby an independent reviewer, approved by the AICPA’s Peer Review Program, conducts an independent evaluation of the firm’s processes. This review determines if our quality control policies and procedures are suitably designed, and if our techniques for implementing these policies and procedures comply with professional standards. External peer review is designed to give the public additional confidence in the quality of our audit and accounting practice.

Pisenti & Brinker LLP has successfully completed all peer reviews to date. Each peer review has included a review of governmental audit engagements as required by AICPA standards. Less than 10 percent of the top 100 accounting firms receive this report without suggestions for improvement. Pisenti & Brinker LLP is proud to be a part of that percentage.

In addition, as a registered public accounting firm, we are inspected by the PCAOB every three years to confirm that we are complying with the PCAOB standards.
